Top Rank are in talks for Lomachenko and Inoue’s next fights

Top Rank are in talks regarding upcoming fights for two of their most prominent boxers — Vasiliy Lomachenko and Naoya Inoue — Bob Arum, the company's founder and CEO, told ProBoxingFans this week.

Lomachenko, a 35-year-old who will be looking to rebound following two losses in his last five fights, is linked with George Kambosos Jr., according to the veteran promoter.

The Ukrainian, Arum said, feels "cheated" after losing to Haney in a fight many reporters felt at the time that he won. It is unlikely he will fight this year, he said.

"Loma feels like he was cheated out of the fight with Haney, and the fight was debatable as far as who's won," said Arum.

"I think he's taking time off and maybe we'll look to match him with Kambosos in Australia next year," Arum added.

Pound-for-pound boxing star Inoue, meanwhile, could return to the ring in December after bludgeoning Stephen Fulton at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo on July 25.

"Ah, The Monster is going to fight in December in Japan," Arum said, "hopefully against the Filipino kid that has the two other titles," he finished, referring to Marlon Tapales.
