Stevenson gives credit to Haney for Lomachenko performance

Shakur Stevenson is letting anyone know - that he wants to fight Devin Haney for the undisputed lightweight world titles, next.

Recently, Stevenson has taken to various outlets including YouTube channels and Twitter to express his opinions.

“This is the moment that we’ve been waiting for our whole lives," said Stevenson on the popular YouTube channel, Stamina For Sale. " It’s time. Let’s make it happen."

Stevenson is currently now the number-two contender according to the WBC lightweight rankings, despite being in a WBC lightweight eliminator in his last fight.

It is clear Stevenson really wants this fight to happen. Now will it, is another question.

Today Stevenson was rather vocal on Twitter, as he expressed frustration over the fact Lomachenko has kept his spot in the WBC rankings despite losing his fight against Devin Haney.

"[expletive] they moved me from mandatory that quick," tweeted Stevenson, on Thursday, May 25th, as he reflected on news that Vasyl Lomachenko will still be the number-one #1 contender for the WBC lightweight title, following Lomachenko's team petitioning the sanctioning bodies to have him listed in the number one spot to force a rematch.
