Former Mexican Olympian and bantamweight prospect Gael “El Terror” Cabrera (3-0, 2 KO) got a first-round technical knockout of Alejandro Dominguez (2-1, 1 KO). The bout was stopped at 2:16. Ryan Garcia's brother, Sean Garcia (6-0, 2 KOs) got a four-round decision over Joseph Johnson (3-2-1, 0 KOs). The bout was scored 40-34, 40-34 and 39-35, all in his favor. Opening the bout was a welterweight fight that sawDanilo Diez (1-0) defeat Jose Valenzuela. The scores were 40-36.
