We have a new co-main event for the Golden Boy Promotions card Saturday in Houston, Texas, as Oscar de la Hoya has elevated Floyd Schofield's bout.
Ohara Davies and Ismael Barroso, who were originally set to wage war, will have to wait to do battle as Visa issues for Davies have pushed the fight back.
21-year-old Schofield will face Ricardo Lopez Torres, 26, in a 10-rounder just before Ryan Garcia and Oscar Duarte compete in the main event.
Davies and Barroso will originally set to crown an interim WBA champion at 140-pounds. Barroso was at the end of a bad referee stoppage earlier this year, and his placement in this fight seems to acknowledge that.
Whereas, Davies recently signed with Golden Boy Promotions. Prior, Davies defeated Lewis Ritson.
The card will be televised on DAZN.
