ProBox TV News brings you the live stream, betting odds and fight card from Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. John Ryder

The undisputed super-middleweight champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) returns to his home of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on Saturday to defend his titles against the WBO interim super middleweight champion John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs) live on DAZN PPV.

This will be Canelo’s first fight after injuring his hand during the last Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs) fight in September of last year. Although Canelo is the heavy favorite in this matchup, you never know what can happen inside the square circle that can significantly impact this fight, like potentially reinjuring that hand. The fight's focus is more on what Canelo will do later this year than on Ryder. That can be a mistake, as we have often seen fighters pull off the upset when they are overlooked or written off.

Ryder is an interesting fighter who fans outside the UK may not know much about. He has some significant names on his resume, including wins over Zach Parker and Daniel Jacobs and a loss to Callum Smith in 2019. Ryder knows he is being overlooked and will use that to fuel his motivation to become the undisputed king. Can Ryder put it all together on Saturday night? We will have to see, but until then, ProBox TV News has everything you need to know about Saturday’s PPV.
