Ryan Garcia teases Rolly Romero fight

Ryan Garcia is now a junior welterweight, and it seems that if he can have it his way - he knows who he'd like to fight.

Garcia took to social media to call out current WBA junior welterweight world champion, Rolando Romero, who got a controversial ninth-round technical knockout stoppage over Ismael Barroso, when referee Tony Weeks stopped the fight in many people's eyes prematurely. Romero had been dropped earlier in the fight, which led to further dismay from some.

"Okay rollies you asked for it, Let’s get it [SIC]," tweeted Ryan Garcia via his official Twitter account.

Garcia was stopped by Gervonta Davis in the seventh round when a body shot from Davis but was sent to the canvas in the second round as well, appears to be looking at a world title opportunity. This would be Ryan Garcia's first time fighting for a world title if this fight were made.

Garcia is currently promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, and Rolando Romero has been fighting under the Premier Boxing Champions brand of boxing content. The two parties worked together to make Garcia's last fight with Davis, so the fight seems makable - if the parties involved are interested. Add to it, the fact that Romero first gained fame from two viral videos in which he sparred with Ryan Garcia, which made him a notable name in the sport of boxing.

Garcia concluded the message by saying that he will win this fight in tribute of Ismael Barroso.

"This one is for barroso[SIC]."
