EXCLUSIVE: Robert Garcia Proclaims "Danger" As Next RGBA Star

Two years ago famed boxing coach Robert Garcia was shouting the praises of Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez to anyone who would listen, now Garcia has touted another fighter out of the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy, lightweight Raymond “Danger” Muratalla, who fights this Saturday, March 25th, at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, as the main attraction of the ESPN+ prelims.

Trained by his father, and managed by Robert Garcia, Muratalla has been praised around the Los Angeles, California boxing scene as a surging contender who lies in wait to introduce himself to the boxing world, which his supporters believe will be this year.

When a future hall-of-fame training Robert Garcia sings your praises a wise person might be advised to listen. Garcia has been at the top of the coaching hierarchy for over a decade now, and his family has been involved at the highest level of the sport for closing for three decades.

“I am taking each fight, day by day, I think I am ready for it [a step-up fight],” said Muratalla. “I am just training my [expletive] off, in [the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy], continuing to learn, and I feel like I am ready - I can’t wait.”

On Saturday night, Muratalla will face Humberto Galindo, a veteran lightweight who has gone 54 rounds as a professional and has never been stopped. It appears that Muratalla is looking to change that, and that might be one of the ways he looks to make a statement on Saturday.

“After this fight, we already have something lined up for May, and people will see,” explained Garica as it appears Muratalla might get his step-up fight then. “He will be up there with the top of the division because he is going to take over the lightweight division.”
