ProBoxTV will present another edition of Wednesday Night Fights (WNF) this time on Friday night. Valentine’s Day will occur on Wednesday, so the fights will take place on Friday this year.
The main event on this card will create super bantamweight contender as Israel Rodriguez Picazo (22-1, 10 KOs) of Mexico City, Mexico as he faces Ramon Cardenas (23-1, 12KOs).
Picazo is currently unbeaten in the past four-and-a-half years. He is riding an incredible fifteen fight win streak. He also last fought in December getting a technical knockout over Wilner Soto in Orlando, Florida. He notably also lost a split-decision in a four round fight to former WBA world champion, Mauricio Lara.
Cardenas is unbeaten in the past six-and-a-half years and riding an eleven fight win streak. His last win was the biggest win of his career when he recorded as he knocked out Rafael Pedroza in the second round. The bout was shown on ShoBox: The Next Generation. He entered that fight as +225 underdog.
The bout will happen at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida.
