Mike Tyson: Fulton vs. Inoue will be an amazing fight

It is a big fight weekend, and nothing screams a big fight like Mike Tyson making the media rounds. Tyson, a staple of the earlier 90’s pay-per-view resurgence is boxing royalty, and as iconic of a boxer as we have ever seen.

Tyson, who graced the stage for the Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia weigh-in yesterday was on ESPN’s First Take to talk about tonight’s April 22nd, pay-per-view. When asked who is a fighter that Tyson is drawn to the answer might surprise some.

“The guy who's fighting Stephen Fulton [Jr.] - Naoya Inoue,” said Mike Tyson on ESPN’s First Take.

Naoya Inoue, better known by his nickname ‘The Monster’, is one of the most concussive punchers we have ever seen. Inoue is currently a three-division world champion, who was previously the undisputed bantamweight world champion. Now Inoue is moving up to face the unified WBO and WBC super bantamweight Stephen Fulton Jr, as Fulton is considered by many the best in the division.

The July 25th fight scheduled for Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, might be falling under the radar to some, but not to the legend himself, Mike Tyson. Tyson seemingly has the fight circled on his calendar as one of the bouts to watch this year. Despite, being in one of the smaller weight classes, Tyson is thrilled about this bout.

“That fight is going to be amazing,”
