Jared Anderson will fight Charles Martin on July 1st

Stop the presses, we have a new fight for the potential breakout star in the heavyweight Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson, for his Toledo, Ohio, homecoming on July 1st, which will be shown on ESPN.

Anderson, who is promoted by Top Rank Inc., and managed by James Prince, will now face the former IBF heavyweight world champion, Charles Martin in his ten-round ESPN main event, as Martin will step in on eleven days notice as Zhan Kossobutskiy has had visa issues, that were first reported by BoxingScene.com's Keith Idec, that have forced him to withdraw from the fight.

Martin, who is now a 37-year-old heavyweight has fought three times since 2020, with one of his bouts being on pay-per-view against Luis Ortiz on January 1st, 2022, which he lost via a brutal sixth-round knockout. Martin returned in September of 2020 as he knocked out 2004 Olympian Devin Vargas in four rounds.

Anderson, who is 23-years-old, has knocked out all fourteen opponents he has faced with his last fight being his most impressive stopping George Arias in three rounds.

Anderson's first headlining card will take place at the Huntington Center, in Toledo, Ohio
