Ryan Garcia's return against Oscar Duarte has a full undercard now.
The Golden Boy Promotions card from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas taking place on DAZN, will see a five-fight main card with a prelim portion as well.
The co-feature will see London’s Ohara “Two Tanks” Davies with a record of 25-2, 18 KOs), making his U.S. debut as a Golden Boy fighter against Ismael Barroso with a record of 24-4-2, 22 KOs. The bout will be for the WBA super lightweight interim title, with the full title being held by Rolando Romero who has been inactive since defeating Barroso in a fight that Romero struggled in. It appears Barroso is getting this opportunity given the awkward stoppage that occurred in his fight with Romero as it was previously thought Kenny Sims Jr might land the fight given his high ranking.
Rising Golden Boy Promotions prospect, lightweight Floyd “Kid Austin'' Schofield (15-0, 11 KOs) of Austin, Texas, will take on the big punching Ricardo “Explosivo” Torres (17-7-3, 12 KOs) in a ten-round fight. Schofield was a last-minute main eventer in July when he outpointed Haskell Rhodes when Vergil Ortiz was unable to fight Eimantas Stanionis. Schofield suffered a cut in the fight and will be returning for the first time since that bot.
Middleweight Shane Mosley Jr. (20-4, 11 KOs) will face Joshua Conley (17-5-1, 11 KOs) in a ten-round fight as Mosley Jr is approaching a world title fight. Mosley Jr looked as good as ever when he got a fifth-round knockout over D'Mitrius Ballard in June. Given the lack of depth in middleweight Mosley Jr is right there.
Opening the DAZN card, the 2019 Olympic Trials winner in the heavyweight division, Darius Fulghum (8-0, 8 KOs), who now fights at super middleweight will fight in his home region of Houston, Texas against tough veteran Pachino “Chino” Hill (8-4-1, 6 KOs) of Davenport, Iowa.
A prelim portion will take place on Golden Boy’s YouTube Channel with Waianae, Hawaii’s Asa “Ace” Stevens (5-0, 2 KOs) fighting Dominque Griffin (5-5-2, 2 KOs) of Irving, Texas. Former Mexican Olympian and bantamweight prospect Gael “El Terror” Cabrera (2-0, 1 KO) will be in a four-round fight against Alejandro Dominguez (2-0, 1 KO), and the brother of Ryan Garcia, Sean Garcia (5-0, 2 KOs) will open the night's action.
