Broner returns November 4th on Don King show

Legenadry boxing promoter Don King will promote a boxing show to celebrate his 92nd birth day with “Only in America 92 Celebration," which will take place on Saturday, November 4 at Casino Miami Jai Alai.

The card will see the return of former four-division world champion champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner facing Cincinnati native Chris Howard (18-2-1, 8 KOs). Broner signed with Don King earlier this year after a failed fight on BLK Prime, after a nearly 26 month absnece from the ring, as he outpointed William “Hutch” Hutchinson. This will mark his second fight in 2023 and his second bout with Don King.

“We are bringing the public a boxing card, where all the fights will be co-feature events,” said King via press release.“One great fight after another.  It will be an action-packed night to remember and we have more to come.”

Other bouts featured on the undercard will be cruiserweight Noel Mikaelian facing former world champion Ilunga Makabu, heavyweight Jonathan Guidry facing Jesus Escalera, heavyweight Trevor Bryan taking on Cassius Chaney, and middleweigth Ian Green faces Mark “The Bazooka” DeLuca.

Recently, Broner made the news for all the wrong reasons as he went into a fastfood chain restaurant, in which Broner hassled the staff about how his hamburger was cooked. In this video, Broner wasn't wearing a shirt, and though the video could be labeled as a 'prank', it also seemed to show some very bad judgement on his part.

Broner is currently training with Kevin Cunningham in Florida for this fight, as he has for many fights prior as well.
