Adrien Broner Skips Press Conference Ahead Of PPV Fight

Adrien Broner used to be known as “The Problem”, for what he brought to opponents to the ring, now it seems it he is the problem because he has trouble finding his way to the ring. On Saturday, April 22nd, at the New York, New York casino, the former four-division world champion missed out on the announcement of his upcoming fight with the unknown Bill Hutchinson on a Don King pay-per-view show June 9 at Casino Miami, in Miami, Flordia.

Hutchinson stood alone at the dais almost flabbergasted as the media waited for one hour until it was announced that Broner was not showing. As the event looking to piggyback off the major sporting that is occurring tonight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia fell flat.

“I wanted this fight because I know that I will win this fight,” said Hutchinson who we learned goes by the nickname ‘Hutch’, at this press event. “Hopefully, [Broner] shows up June 9th, because I will, and I will be prepared.”

Hutchinson has a unique backstory as the professional boxer is also an attorney of all things. This bit of information was circulated yesterday when Keith Idec of BoxingScene.com, first broke the news and even spoke to this at the press conference alluding to Broner’s troubles outside of the ring.

“I know Adrien [Broner] has [some legal issues outside of the ring] and I do have a former opponent discount,” said Hutchinson who has not lost a fight in the last seven years. “So I can give him my card.”
