In an eagerly-anticipated clash of battle-tested Irish warriors, Dylan Moran and Tyrone McKenna will go to war at the SETU Arena in Waterford, Ireland, on ProBox TV this Saturday...
Pride is on the line as Moran aims to prove he’s the top dog in Ireland while the more experienced southpaw McKenna will hope a win will position himself in line for another major fight. Moran has won 19 and lost just twice, while McKenna has been victorious 23 times, losing five with one draw.
They top a big bill that includes the 10-round junior lightweight fight between 18-0 (13 KOs) Kazakh southpaw Sultan Zaurbek and Polish veteran Damian Wrzesinski and another 10-rounder, which sees the undefeated Californian Jonathan Navarro, 18-0 (9 KOs), take on Mexico’s Jair Valtierra, who is 17-3 with nine knockout wins. Navarro picked up an eight-round win over Clarence Booth on ProBox TV in July.
Well-travelled Cork prospect Tommy Hyde puts his unbeaten win streak of 10 on the line against 12-0-1 Ghanaian Jibril Mohammed and, also at super middleweight, Craig McCarthy and Graham McCormack will bid to steal the show over eight rounds.
Highly-touted Welsh prospects Ioan and Garan Croft make their professional debuts in middleweight four rounders and, over six, undefeated lightweight Brandon McCarthy will hope to move to Navarro 3-0 with victory over Ghana’s Felix Nunoo.
The show also includes a four rounder bout for junior middleweight debutant Dean Walsh.
