Shawn Porter Sees Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford Happening At 154 lbs

Former fighter and now podcast host, “Showtime” Shawn Porter thinks we will see Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr., but at 154 lbs and not at the welterweight limit of 147 lbs.

“I honestly expect Terence and Errol to fight at 154 pounds,” said Porter to Hans Themistode of BoxingScene.com. “The belts don’t matter. No disrespect but the belts don’t matter.”

The remark comes on the heels that Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr. will more than likely fight in April, and at the 154 lbs weight class as opposed to fighting at the welterweight limit. This has many wondering if Errol Spence Jr. will ever fight at welterweight again, with many believing he won’t.

It appears you can add Shawn Porter to the list of people who don’t believe this fight will happen.
